Youth Trek 2022

Amidst the chilly monsoon weather 50 youth of our Parish along with Fr. Ashwin experienced nature at it’s best at Visapur Fort, Lonavala. With boosted energy we began our journey at 6 am. With laughter, chit chat and grooving around we made it to the basecamp of our trek. With courage and will power as strong as a rock, all of us with bright smiles commenced the trek.

Our entire adventure was packed with obstacles, weather barriers and unforeseen complications, however our spirits and companionship pushed us to face whatever that came our way. With amusing stories and teamwork we descended the alluring mountains and boarded the bus home with memories to be cherished forever.

On behalf of the St. Michael’s Youth group I would like to extend my heartiest gratitude to Fr. Ashwin and Samuel Rodrigues for organising this exceptional adventure and for giving us stories we’ll perpetually treasure. We may have come back with body aches and risky tales but nothing can take away our smiles from this memorable day!
