YOUTH DAY 2022

Being the first for many people, including myself, I have no regrets attending the Youth Day that took place on Sunday, 7th August 2022. Very honestly, there are no words to describe how amazing and fantastic the night was, and how well it was put together. The program began with a lovely mass said by Fr. Ashwin and Fr. Mathieu, a Priest, originally from Brazil, but here in India as a missionary.

Later on, we played a few games, and had a few activities like meeting new people, creating groups, and playing games, like Queen of Sheba, etc. We were also given, some delicious snacks, and drinks. Soon after, we were all called to the dance floor, by the band 'Echoes Of Zion', run by Fr. McEnroe Lopes, and the youth of Don Bosco's church,who played Music that was not only unique, but also educated us youth, on the topic evangelization and catechesis, through Gospel music.

We were also spoken to by Fr. McEnroe, about how God impacts our lives, especially in mysterious ways, as the night went on, DJ. Andrew took over the DJ mixer, and played some fantastic music, while all of us Jived, Jumped, and Jammed, I think that we would all agree, this was the highlight of the night.

Like all good things come to an end, the night also came to an end, and we were all given a lovely meal, some dessert, key chains and sweets. It was, and will always be one of the most memorable night's of my life.
